Gibson Melody Maker 1985 Cardinal Red Vintage w/ Bag

This is a super cool vintage Gibson Melody Maker in Cardinal Red! The guitar is light-weight and features a single humbucker. The neck has a comfortable "C" shape profile. This example plays great, and its simple design gives you everything you need, and nothing you don't.  

This guitar is in nice shape for its age, but does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware also shows normal tarnishing. There is a sticker on the back of the headstock as shown. The frets have flattened out from over time, with a few less resonant spots in the upper register, most notably on the low E string on the higher frets, but they play well overall. We opted not to level the frets given their lower height, as we wanted to leave that decision to the player if desired. The electronics function as they should. 

This guitar is all original.
