Ibanez 2616 Artist MIJ 1973 Natural Hollow Body Super 70 Pickups Vintage Japan w/ Hard Case

This vintage Ibanez 2616 Artist plays and sounds great! The body has a hollow body construction and the Ibanez Super 70 humbuckers produce a full and rounded tone. The DC resistance in the pickups measure 7.94k ohms in the neck and 7.71k in the bridge.

This guitar is in really nice shape, especially considering it is over 50 years old. This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches and other light blemishes.  If you run your finger across a small section of the binding on the lower back side, you can feel a little bit of separation from the body, but everything is structurally sound, just normal aging from the wood expanding and contracting for the last 50+ years. The gold hardware and pickups also show normal patina from over time. The frets play great, exhibiting only light play wear and the electronics work as they should. 

This guitar is all original.
